Don't know if you all have paid attention, but Bama has 5 starters out for violation of rules... Oh and they have been reinstated by the NCAA for the Auburn game.
Ut really should take note here, we suspend kids for text book violation..... It take 3-4 failed drug test before fulmer kicks off a player.

Yeah, you never heard Coke-er mentioned very much either, did you? Failed 4 drug tests. They seem to be blind to infractions of their own.
The drug policy is set by the school. Not the coach. It's the same policy that most SEC schools have. Fulmer wanted to boot him earlier but wasn't allowed to by the school. That's why Coker had enough carries to count on both hands this year.
I'm sure the Coach can suspend him from the team and sit him on the bench though.

How can you be suspended from the team and sit on the bench? If it's an institutional policy that he for some crazy reason gets 4 chances and he's punished by what would be considered early (after 2,3) then the kid would have a case for legal action, discrimination, etc. He probably wouldn't but he could.
Suspend from the team and sit on the bench are two options of the coach. How can he take action if he rides the pine?
He can't suspend him from the team when according to the insitution the kid didn't do anything to be kicked off the team. Also, I don't think he failed 4 drug tests either. He was booted for not going to the counseling that he was supposed to be attending.
